2012 Recap

Here are some updates of our lives from this last year. We are settled in our new place in Lehi Utah. We moved here in July. I am really enjoying the location and layout of our condo. We are happy with our jobs. Matt just recently received a promotion as assistant director of online marketing for UVU. In June of this year I finished work with Anytime Fitness and UVU as an event coordinator. I took a job at USANA Health Sciences as the wellness coordinator for their corporate wellness program. It is my absolute dream job and I am loving what I do.

In April, the Reichmans spoiled us and took us on a Disney Cruise to Cabo and Puerta Vallarta. We had a blast!! Thank you so much for the memories.

We were able to be involved in three weddings this year. All of them were people we love dearly. Congratulations Megan and Lindon, Brent and Angela, and Paige and Korey! I love having girlfriends that are married. It is fun to swap stories and learn from each others trials and good times.

Matt and I became an uncle and aunt again twice this year and all within 24 hours. Our sweet niece anabel was born first and ellie was born the day after. We love these sweet little girls so much.

Matt and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary by spending some time at Snowbird. It is beautiful to go up there in the summer. We spent the night, watched an outdoor movie, took the tram up to the top, and did some hiking. It was a great little get away. We are lucky to live so close.

My brother left for his mission in September to Torreon Mexico. What a blessing it is to have a brother on a mission. I miss him so much but know that he made the greatest decision of his life by serving the Lord. We were able to skype him on Christmas. At the end of the phone call Jeff let us know how grateful he is that we are all apart of eternal family. I ditto that Jeff. I am beyond lucky to have the family I do and the new eternal family I have created with Matthew.

In October I had the opportunity go to San Francisco with my bestie Paige and run the Nike Womens Half Marathon. It is such a fun race every year and have been so blessed by the hospitality of the Knudsens every time I make it out there. THANK YOU Kathryn and Brent!

Matt celebrated his 28th birthday. We carried on the tradition of the birthday rope. For his birthday he got a new north face hoodie, a gift card to a golf store and an I-pad mini! We made ribs for his birthday dinner.

I turned 24 this year and am really enjoying being done with school. Work can be exhausting some days but I love what I do and I get paid to do it. This last year I have gotten into interior decorating. I am enjoying slowly decorating our home and like finding potential items for my one day "dream home"


We spent Thanksgiving with the Reichmans and Christmas with the Wrays. In 2013 my parents will be moving less than 5 minutes from the Reichmans. We can't wait! Hopefully we will make it out to Colorado one of these days. We miss home.
